A measurable evaluation of the connections between ground- and surface-water in erdos plateau, china's hailiutu river basin

Abstract

As for the Erdos Plateau, "Because surface water and groundwater are so inextricably linked, hydrological processes are notoriously difficult to comprehend. The more we understand hydrology, the better we can manage the water sources that are available at the same time. Long-term economic growth and poverty reduction are dependent on a healthy ecosystem and responsible use of water resources. There haven't been many studies to see if groundwater withdrawal affects stream flow, which is likely due to the complexity of the water systems here. To ensure the long-term viability of water resource management, a better understanding of the interactions between groundwater and surface water is required. This study seeks to further our understanding of the groundwater-surface water exchange taking place on Erdos. Plateau "in terms of the interaction of groundwater and surface water on the Erdos Plateau.
