Abstract
Like in other parts of China, the issue of poverty in Fenghuang County is a result of the nation's insufficient updating of its official narrative. The tourism sector is anticipated to play a significant role in the development of Fenghuang, primarily through foreign direct investment and the commercial integration of the rural economy with external markets.
